- Make certain that firearms in the home are not casually accessible to anyone — especially a child
Provides safety kits that include
- Cable-style gun locking device
- Lock installment instructions
- Safety booklet
A free safety kit is available from the Shepherdsville Police Department to all gun owners. Simply stop by the police department to obtain your safety kit. Individuals, community groups and businesses interested in promoting the safe and responsible use and storage of firearms are encouraged to partner with the Shepherdsville Police Department in this project. Firearm safety is everyone’s responsibility.
