The Shepherdsville Police Department is a multi-faceted law enforcement agency composed of approximately 30 members; officers and support personnel. The Department consists of two primary divisions: Patrol and Support Services. The core services provided by the Department are: public protection, patrol, homeland security, crime prevention, training and education, investigations, administrative and support services. The Shepherdsville Police Department is the primary law enforcement agency for the City of Shepherdsville, serving the over 11,000 residents of the County Seat for Bullitt County in Kentucky. SPD is the first and only accredited law enforcement agency in Bullitt County.
